About:

Viviane is a German screenwriter, director, and producer based in Berlin. She studied screenwriting at the New York Film Academy and Vancouver Film School, and earned a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Goldsmith College, University of London.

She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Cultural Studies at the University of Potsdam with a special focus on film, combining her passion for visual storytelling with an academic interest in complex cultural questions and historically significant stories that deserve to be told.

Her work is driven by a passion for powerful storytelling—stories that resonate beyond entertainment and leave a lasting emotional impact. Viviane thrives in collaborative, diverse creative environments and is deeply involved in the conception, development, and execution of bold and imaginative ideas.

Her writing has been published by UNESCO and the German Federal Foreign Office. She has written, co-written, and directed numerous produced short films, as well as produced audio dramas and a narrative video game. She is currently directing her first feature-length documentary, which explores questions of cultural memory through the lives and legacies of James Simon and Albert Ballin.
